My wife and I, Lisa, will be married 33 years on February 15. We have four children, Noah, Abby, Eli, and Ivy. We have one grandson, Logan Parker Shouse. I met Lisa in 1982 at Cumberland University where I attended on a baseball scholarship. I played for the Bulldogs for three years, then was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, where I played for one year.
In 1986 Lisa and I were married and started attending First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet, where Lisa was already a member.
I have been working in the student ministry for over 10 years where I have served as a Sunday School teacher, discipleship coordinator, divisional leader, and youth camp director.
I am excited about God and what he is doing in our youth group here at Silver Springs and I can’t wait to see what God has planned for 2019.
I would love for you to pray with my family and I as we discern God’s will for us and our church this year.
Contact me and let me know what is on your heart and how I can pray for you.
