ELIJAH HOSSE
PASTOR
Elijah has been involved in churches across the country, pouring his energy into everything from leading Bible studies to preaching from the pulpit. His approach is simple: love God and love people. His passion for understanding the roots of his faith has taken him on academic adventures as well, earning degrees in biblical studies, apologetics, church history, and archaeology. His travels have brought him to far-flung corners of the world, soaking in the richness of diverse cultures and histories. After living abroad and bouncing around the country, Elijah and his family have found their way back to their hometown of Mt. Juliet. He and his wife, Megan, have three kids: Jackson, Naomi, and Pearl.
BRIAN PRICE
ASSOCIATE PASTOR FAMILY MINISTRY & WORSHIP
Brian gave his life to the Lord in October of 2015. He and his son were invited to church, having been asked to play drums on the worship team. God changed Brian’s life through this extension of grace. Since then, Brian’s involvement of serving in the church has varied in capacity, ranging from leading a food outreach, co-leading a men’s group, becoming a licensed minister, serving as one of two youth pastors, and serving on a worship team. Brian and his wife, Amanda, have six kids together, Addie, Bayle, Jahsolin, Emily, Sebastian, and Eli.
BEVERLY BIRDSONG
ADMINISTRATION/FINANCES ASSISTANT
Beverly is originally from Giles County, Tennessee. She graduated from Giles County High School and then received an associate degree from Faulkner University in Huntsville, Alabama. She met her husband Chris in band class in 1986. They dated almost four years and married in August of 1990. She and her family moved to Mt. Juliet in 2006. Beverly and Chris have two grown children, Alex and Autumn, who both live and work in the area, along with two grandchildren, Henleigh and Ethan.
She enjoys spending time with her family, walking trails, and loving her sweet Suzie (her little Havanese puppy). She also enjoys teaching Mission Friends on Wednesday nights at Silver Springs. Beverly began serving as church secretary in 2008 and her responsibilities have only increased since! She loves serving her church and considers it a source of great blessings.
MEGAN HOSSE
SECRETARY
Megan is originally from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. She graduated from Mt. Juliet High School. She married her husband, Elijah, in May of 2007. After living abroad and bouncing around the country she and her family have found their way back to their hometown of Mt. Juliet. She and Elijah have three kids: Jackson, Naomi, and Pearl.
She enjoys doing activities with her family and serving her church. She volunteers as the children’s Sunday School teacher, the Wednesday night teacher for a women’s class, and is our Women’s Ministry Director. She stays very busy but always has a smile on her face.
